Each command task last for 30
minutes. They can be stretched out a little or
run more quickly, but thirty minutes is optimum
time. Typically a group will be divided into teams
and several of these are chosen to makes a half
or full days activity. Each group rotates around
the challenges and there is a light hearted completion.
Events such as minefield and bridge build are
a more traditional command tasks but we have added
more creative team building games and activates
to add variety and so that the day does not seem
too ‘samey’ and there
are games to appeal to all team members.
Bridge Build
The team is faced with a collapsed bridge raging
over shark infested water. Some equipment has
been washed to the shore and the team must use
this and rebuild the bridge and get the whole
team safely across.
Minefield crossing
An advanced support party has cleared one safe
path through a grid of 100 squares. They left
a map but this has been stolen by the local drug
barrens. The team must work their way across the
grid, but mines are volatile so they cannot speak.
Chemical Rescue
After a dangerous chemical spill four containers
pose risk within a contaminated zone. Using a
complex system of suspended ropes and pulleys
the team must work together to extract the containers
from contaminated zone.
Shepherd
One member of the team is elected, either by the
team or randomly, to act as the shepherd. The
objective is to gather your scattered team from
the field into the pen using an agreed form of
alternative communication. All but the Shepard
are blindfolded.
Spiders web
The team must pass through a large spiders web
without toughing the threads which awaken the
sleeping man eating arachnid!
Team Ski
Four members of the team stand astride one large
set of skis and attempt to complete an obstacle
course by moving in unison. The game requires
complete co-ordination from the team as it builds
momentum around the course, making for an entertaining
subject for the days event photographer.
The great egg toss
The team must design and build a free standing
egg launcher to propel the egg as fare as possible.
Group sizes best size groups are between
6 and 10
Costs are normally worked as a per activity
basis but working on a per head rate would work
out £75 per head. The more people the better
the price would be.
